The Train: Experience the opulence of the Maharajahs’ Express with its tastefully appointed interiors paired with gracious hospitality. There are four premium cabin categories, all with a dedicated butler service and en suite bathrooms. Amenities in cabins include an LCD screen, Wi-Fi, spacious wardrobe, writing table, personal safe and air-conditioning.

Deluxe Cabins: Feature twin or double beds with amenities such as bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, range of luxury toiletries made of essential oils.

Junior Suites: All the suites have large panoramic windows, so that you can savour every bit of magnificent India on your train journey.

Express Suites: The suite rooms are provided with additional features such as complimentary mini-bar and bath tub. The fare for the suite is inclusive of an exclusive language speaking guide and luxury car during the off-board journeys.

Presidential Suites: Boast two bedrooms and washrooms, a separate living room, minibar and an exclusive 24 hour personal valet service. Features 448 sq ft of cabin area and the only one of its kind among the international trains.

Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi > Jaipur
Board the train at Delhi in the morning and proceed to Jaipur. Tonight, have dinner at an exclusive venue in Jaipur.

Day 2: Jaipur > Ranthambore
This morning head out on a visit to the Amber Fort. Later, enjoy dinner as the train continues to Ranthambore.

Day 3: Ranthambore > Fatehpur Sikri
Early morning safari in Ranthambore National Park in search of tigers. Travel to Fatehpur Sikri for an afternoon tour.

Day 4: Agra > Orchha
Enjoy an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal followed by breakfast at an exclusive venue. This afternoon, visit Agra Fort. Dinner on board as the train proceeds to Orchha.

Day 5: Orchha > Khajuraho > Varanasi
This morning visit Orchha, a living medieval town. The train then continues to Khajuraho to visit its famous temples. Enjoy dinner as the train continues to Varanasi.

Day 6: Varanasi > Delhi
Arrive in Varanasi and visit the Sarnath Stupas followed by a boat ride on the Ganges to witness evening Aarti. Tonight, dinner is at an exclusive venue before the train sets off for Delhi.

Day 7: Delhi
Arrive back in Delhi after lunch for journey’s end.
