Gemma joined us on 25 February coming to us from the Napier i-Site. She received her Travel Certificate from EIT in 2017. She has a great passion for travel and one of her strengths is booking travel within New Zealand, Australia and the South Pacific. She has also travelled to some interesting destinations including Russia and is currently learning Russian. Do pop in and say hello to her.

We love to Travel – who has been where?

CYNTHIA DORSEY-JACKSON

is just back from a 2 weeks on a Windstar Cruise traveling from Hong Kong to Beijing. She was on Windstar’s Legend which is an all-suite ship with a maximum of 312 passengers. She reports the crew were outstanding and the food amazing. She loved her 2 weeks of luxury and highly recommends Windstar.

DANIELLE CALDWELL

has been on a wine and food escape to Adelaide. She had copious amounts of fabulous wine and amazing food. She did the Adelaide Oval Roof climb, which was great fun. She highly recommends this area for a wide variety of activities. Hahndorf is a German village in the Adelaide hills and worth a day’s visit you can then carry onto the Murray River and either charter a boat or join the Murray Princess a steam boat.

VIV BLACKMORE

has been to Cambodia and Vietnam Spending time on her own in Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh cities at the beginning and end of her holiday. She did an Avalon River Cruise between and loved it all. She highly recommends the small ship experience it is all very friendly and each day is a new experience in local areas without having to travel long distances. Most of the ship travel was at night but often after they set out on their morning excursion, the ship sailed along to meet them at the end. It was all very relaxing and seeing locals in their village in a small respectful group was amazing. She loved Cambodia and recommends setting out to see Angkor Wat before sunrise, it is spectacular and not crowded so early. All the touring was with local guides.

MAUREEN HALBERT

is next off to Thailand in April and will be going to experience a jungle safari. More on this in the next update. She will also be in to Vietnam in May for our helloworld Managers & Owners conference.
